What? An environmental website that helps Givers pass on unwanted free items to potential Takers. For the first time on-line, Takers can search for unwanted items at local, regional, and national levels. JumbleTown simply brings Givers and Takers together.

Why? To help people free up valuable space in the home/workplace; to promote the practice of “life-cycling”, which postpones an item’s entry into costly recycling and landfill schemes.

When? Devised in 2003; launched in March 2006.

Free? Yup! Web-hosting costs are covered by advertising revenue (just about).
