My niece wanted wanted a one off dress for a vintage themed summer picnic event so she came to me (can't think why) for ideas. Of course I ended up making it for her, having been given a detailed brief as to what it should look like.
With the recession and green thinking lots of people are upcycling, reconstructing something they already have. which is a fabulous idea.
Here is the before and after of the old slip I revamped for her.

It looks fab!! with a bit of a frill and extra fabric you'd be suprised what you'd make! Well done!
