Trampoline to Polytunnel

3 Attachment(s)
Hi, just thought someone might find this useful. We wanted a polytunnel but they are very expensive so we had the idea of using an old trampoline frame and some spare wood and making a polytunnel. The frame is the two halves of a circular trampoline and then braces with the legs and some timber. I think we used some of the metal bits that keep up the safety net as well. We bought the plastic on ebay and spent a fun but strenuous afternoon putting the plastic on. Here is the imperfect but perfectly serviceable results.

Thank you to the trampoline donator! :-)

Hi

Thanks for your nice comments. The floating bottle was an idea I saw and copied from somewhere. Its actually fixed to an unbent wire hanger and it swirls in the wind and scares the birds away (actually if more so that one of our hens - the flying one) doesnt decide to fly over the fence and into the veg patch by landing on the wooden fencing post. Bold!
