DIY Wedding Invitations

Hi would anyone know anywhere you can get cheap card paper etc... and decorations for making your own DIY wedding invites, and would anyone have any templates they could e.mail me for wedding invites. Have not got a clue where or how to start on these and I only have 5 weeks to get them sorted before they have to be posted out. Thanks

Hi there, try sending p.m. to purplebeach. She makes hand made cards etc and could probably advise you on best place to buy cheap. You can order online and again she would know about good sites. Eibhlin.

Wedding Invites

Hi Kingcogo, I made my own Invites (20 yrs ago) by getting a good quality, inexpensive, card, and with a thin black marker, I did a drawing (not too detailed) of a little boy and girl holding hands walking through a meadow and a verse underneath it saying, "This day I will marry, not only my greatest love but also my truest friend". I just had to decide on the font and wording for the inside of it and then I got them photo-copied, they looked great. The black and white looked very classy although you could add a little flower or decoration of some sort to each individual invite if you liked. I found the simplier the better. I could send you a photo of one by email (as my explanation doesn't do it any justice) lol. Good luck for the future!
