Offer to local pet store for hutches or hamster cages?

Unless ........ you know of a local 'Roadhouse' style establishment where they need to cover up evidence last nights' festivities ;o)

If you have a compost bin you can throw it in

And if you're somewhere in Co. Meath I can take it off you for my chickens

compost bin

i have wormery they dont appreciate it at all, if I give it to pet shop it wont be recycled. if chickens use it do you compost it after??

It goes with the chicken manure in the compost bin. Ideal.

Hi,

Just to let you know if you cut timber with a chainsaw you cannot use the sawdust for small pet bedding. The sawdust contains chain oil & fumes off the chainsaw. Not very safe to be using as hamster bedding.

cutting

i use a large circular saw and the timber is offcuts of hardwood and pine not logs. il recycle this lot myself (ITS TOO WET) but if anyone has chickens and can collect I would gladly dry store it if its going to good use.I have a sand bag full every 2 weeks

Anyone with horses, they could probably use it as bedding! My father had a carpentry business and he couldn't keep the sawdust in stock, once the word got out it was free! Could you make fire logs using paper milk cartons, compact it in a way, or it could be too messy! Wonder can it be dug into clay, or flower beds? I love the smell of sawdust!
