moving shed

Judging by the age of this post I'm pretty sure you have it sorted but for anyone else with similar predicament. Firstly shed needs to be empty (less weight to move). To move the shed use wooden round stakes or poles 4 or 5 should do. If garden is reasonably flat either jack up shed end ( direction of which shed is moving) place stake about 6inches in across width. Get extra bodies and push shed placing another stake in spaced about 2 ft intervals as stake comes out opposite end move it to the front and repeat until shed is at destination. To turn shed gradually turn stakes when placing and shed in motion.
If garden is not as flat place 2 -3 strong timber lengths on grass like train tracks on which stakes can roll..
Hope this helps

Get 2 wooden pallets , With each pallet screw on a big castor under each corner ( maybe from a broken supermarket trolley ) Tilt up one end of shed with a plank , put pallet in under that end and repeat for the other end . Put down a sheet or 2 of 8 x 4 board on the floor and push shed along or tow it with a rope tied to front lowest point on shed.

Post may be old but advice still relevant

Hi all, just looking back on old messages and posts. I need to move two sheds in my current location so good to review advice given. It got too wet at end of summer, so top of my list for spring if we get a few dry days.
