Dog friendly ways to clean residue and stains from a path?
Its been a long long time since I have been here on Jumbletown, I am sure it has changed a lot.
Anyway, just wondering how can i clean residue and stains from my garden path? I've heard Jeyes Fluid is no longer safe for dogs so I thought to give it a miss and see if any of you knew a safer way I could do it with possible household products that i might already have. Hope someone, somewhere can help Thanks in advance, Kiwicooke |
Anyone?

Did you find a solution? Jeyes also makes it blotchy green, I know this as I sanitized a section of my yard when I moved in and that is what it looks like now.
I've got a rescue dog now, so also looking for more friendly cleaning solutions. I'm going to try scrubbing salt into it this time, see what happens. Along with the pressure washer rinse. |
Try using cheap biological washing powder.we use the big own brand ones from either Tesco or SuperValu. Shake it well all over the yard and dampenit with a small amount of water and scrub it in well then power wash it off. Repeat as necessary and give it a final rinse with cheap plain bleach and sweep away
Lasts up to 2 weeks in summer and abut a week in winter. Just have to keep on top of it then |
PS an ordinary deck brush works best for scrubbing and a yard brush for sweeping away the water and bleach afterwards ty
