Hi flash,

the best and inexpensive way is to use 2x telescopic ( extendable ) poles.
No need for making holes anywhere.Done mine like this 3 years ago and still havent got around to changing them...

to rubyruby- i only needed 110cm lenght.so i tried to use the bigger ( longer )
pallets and used handheld saw to cut the sides away
...

what to do with pallets?...i didnt want to spend money on ready made fencing panels and i love bit of a DIY ...the only cost were screws, 10 euro paint and hinges..not bad..still standing:)
