Get two pieces of wood with a groove in at the side and screw them to the wheelie bin then get a piece if tin and screw a knob or handle to it then slot it into the wood and you have a door to slide...

I Think Those Chairs Are Very Good Quality(i Do Restoration) And My Advice To You Is To Sand Them Down And Stain Them With Wood Stain To The Colour Of Your Choice Let It Dry Fully, And French Polish...
