Sparklyspark: what is PVA wash? -- is it PVA glue mixed with water. I want to try some decoupage and not sure what glue to use. I would like to use Mod Podge but understand it's very expensive here...

Great job.It sounds like you hit a lot of hiccups but the finished result is well worth it. I love the Ikea fabric and the orange paint. How did you prep the wood and what paint did you use?

Where to send Christmas cards for recycling?

I'm in Mayo. Anyone know of anywhere in the West of Ireland that recycles old greeting cards? Or any suggestions on how I might resuse them myself? They are mostly Christmas cards.
