cork tiles
hi tasmin,
i undertsnad your pain !
i had to do the same with cork tiles a few years ago ( was trying to surprise the boyfriend by laying tiles on my own in a weekend while he was abroad... we all know how it ended... a friends boyfriend came to lay the new tiles for me at 10pm one friday evening... ehe he he ( amazing what a few vouchers for drink willl do...)
hmm hmm.. back to the tiles...
anyway, i ended up with a nighmare as well, couldn t get them up, until i got the lightbulb moment ( still took me lots of time), a hammer and a wall paper stripper, get it under the floor tile and bang the hammer, (it will work, but the wall apper stripper thingy will be knackered...)
anyway, that is one way to work around them, not the easiest diy job i did, at the beginning i kinda thought "why did i ever start this ?" but it was worth the pain !
hope it works out for you..
all the best
a bad diyer...
