Hi jenniferalan,

Admin hasn't noticed any significant increase in Northern Ireland Members. To the best of our knowledge, less than half a dozen posts have been made by residents of Northern Ireland since the inception of Jumbletown in 2006.

Our funding to promote JumbleTown in the Republic of Ireland has been cut by 56%.

In 2008, fifteen of the 34 Local Authorities kindly provided funding for our promotional work under the Local Agenda 21 Scheme. In 2009, ten are supporting us, namely:

1. Kildare County Council
2. Kilkenny County Council
3. Clare County Council
4. Limerick City Council
5. Limerick County Council
6. South Tipperary County Council
7. Longford County Council
8. Galway County Council
9. Westmeath County Council (new supporter)
10. Waterford City Council (new supporter)

Most of the Local Authorities in the list above have supported our work since 2006.

A small two-week ad campaign on local radio stations and in local newspapers is envisaged for some time in late spring (in some of the counties above). That'll be the extent of any formal ad campaign for 2009, I believe.

We are grateful for the support of the following local authorities who have also funded our promotional efforts in 2007 and/or 2008:

1. Cork County Council
2. Galway City Council
3. Offaly County Council
4. Louth County Council
5. Galway County Council
6. Meath County Council
7. Wexford County Council
8. Sligo Borough Council
9. Roscommon County Council

Regards
