Default disposing of waste cooking oil

Thank you for your response Waterwave also. I will start using my local recycling centre as I said to Chris P, I know a lot of people that just throw it down. One person I asked told me they keep the top part for frying and throw the mucky part (you know the bits at the bottom of the fryer) into the wheelie bin.
