Kitty as far as I know you can buy tags or bags in any of the Centra stores. We used to do this before but now recycle nearly everything and just go to Portlaoise landfill once a month with our own rubbish.
There are also massive bins at Supervalu and Luttrell Oil where you bring your bag and it is 5 or 6 euro to dispose of (you buy a token from them). There is a good recycling facility to bring newspapers, glass, plastic old tvs, old paint etc etc on the Dublin Rd and it is 3 euro per car. Hope this helps!
