hi all,

just wondering if any of u have tips for cleaning wooden floorboards....i.e stairs/hall etc

mil asked if i would clean these for her as shes unable...jesus when the carpet was lifted i nearly died....they were filty!!!

her son layed the carpet while she was in hospital and the gogs&%t didnt think to clean the wood after there was work carried out upstairs.

much to my mil embarressment!

so theres ground in muck on the stairs that has been there for like 11 years.

help!!!!!!!!!

i've said i'd clean them, but what do i use to get this grime of the stairs/hall?

any tips would be grately accepted.
