These machines, (or their grandparents), have been around since the early '80s. I had one once, around then. They make an enormous mess, and I gave up fairly quickly, as the only place I had to work in was my bath, and it took ages to get the newsprint off the enamel ;-(( and for the 'logs' to dry out.
