hi country girl,
to add to fries advice.. mr muscle oven cleaner - the bottle with a trigger- works good too. it helps tho to take off doors and spray the glass only, if you spray the cast iron surround it will colour it so be careful. leave for about an hour and wash off with water and a brush. repeat if necessary. use gloves too.
