It's a PowerShot SD 630. It fell from a kitchen worktop. I broke its fall, so probably only properly fell the last few inches. Landed on soft vinyl, so I was surprised that it suffered.
Thanks, Jennie. Recharging the battery was all I could think of doing, but I'm afraid that didn't work.
Still hoping for inspiration.
