Hi chamallo,
If you make a post on the ad/thread indicating that you've received the item, all those who've communicated on the ad/thread will receive a notification email re: the ad's status.
Alternatively, you can simply delete the ad by clicking on "Thread Tools" (above the Ad's Date in yellow at the top right of the ad). Then choose "Delete" from the drop down box and then "Perform Action."
