Default New use for old gates

We recently got a pair of gates from Hazelthedog in Drogheda. I had an idea to use them as a fence at my meditation garden as the wooden fence was so old and rotten it was like cork, not wood. There was a mature Cotoneaster attached to the fence which I wanted to keep. As it turned out, the wood was so rotten that we removed the fence from the plant rather than the other way round!! We put the two gates together, secured with heavy duty cable ties and put fixings on each end. Re-attached the plant to the new fence and all was done by lunchtime! You would think it had always been there.
