Default Adventures in dressmaking.

My little girl is a proper madam, she loves dresses, shoes, handbags, and most of all cats! So my first attempt at dressmaking was posted here a few weeks ago (and I was so proud of it at the time) pic no. 1

A few weeks down the line, and I think it looks awful, so here's version no. 2

And then, there's the proper CAT DRESS, so badly kitsch that it's goooood! (I take no responsibility for the choice of material, little miss was allowed to choose the material, and she chose this all by herself.......

Definitely bitten by the sewing bug!!

Hi Shonastar,
She has great taste in cats, your little girl!
The sewing is coming on very well too, and you probably have a job for the next few years.... and the school play costumes etc.
Well done - keep it up.

I'm chuffed to bits with the comments, thank you all! I bought my trusty little sewing machine in Tesco for 35 euro. It's very compact and simple to use. I had wanted to buy a sewing machine for ages but couldn't justify spending 100+ euro on something I wasn't sure I would get the use out of.
It's only for lightweight materials, but I'm having tons of fun (currently making a dress for her nibs out of a maxi dress bought in Penneys for 3 euro) I'll post pics of it soon, kind regards, Shonastar x
