Hi spongebob,

Whenever you reply to a thread on JumbleTown, you are automatically 'subscribed' to that thread, which means you receive an email notice when new posts are made to the thread.

Imagine you post an item on JumbleTown, and don't get any immediate Takers, because you are 'subscribed' to your own post, you will receive an email notification when someone replies. Basically, it means there is no need to be checking in on your item every day.

You can of course unsubscribe, instructions are here:
http://www.jumbletown.ie/forums/user...subscribe.html

A second way to unsubscribe is to click the "Thread Tools" link when you're looking at the post/ad, and select the "Unsubscribe from this Thread" option.

Regards
