Default American alternative to jumbletown?

Hi all,
Just wondering whether anyone here knows of a US-based site equivalent to jumbletown please? There's craigslist but it's really not the same thing at all.

Cheers for any help.

It would be a long way to go, but any excuse to travel :)

Should have explained, it's research for an article.

Hi rockbeer,

Freecycle is well-established in the USA. It doesn't use a website forum like JumbleTown, opting instead to use Yahoo Groups Mailing Lists. Details below:

Many thanks for that, Chris. It seems to be just the sort of thing I was looking for.
