Need advice - Victorian childs play buggy
Does anyone know where I might get a Victorian child play buggy restored? I dont know where to start with it and its a beautful little thing. Will try upload a photo. Its completely rusted frame and wheels. The body appears to be intact. Needs a little weld as the handle has broken. Will need new play beads along the side. ( Bead with a small hole to thread threw a bar at the side of buggy). The hood is working although arms for putting up and down are rusted. Material (blue canvas) is intact. The body has material along sides and is intact. Very dirty - any ideas on how/or what to use to clean? The frame is made of metal / very intricate flower design...but its all rusted too.
I will need to get a nice porcelin doll and also a nice mat and cover......but they are way down the road!!!!! Any ideas/help - much appreciated. |

The rusted areas would need to be rubbed down with fine grade steel wool and panel beater's rubbing down paste. That is seriously hard work as it's a narrow area. An antique dealer might be able to help you find someone.
