Default jumbletown chat?

It's probably been mentioned before but I'm just wondering if you ever explored the possibility of having a live chat area tagged onto the site? It might afford givers & takers the option of communicating in realtime when neccessary/convenient in order to make arrangements etc? Perhaps it could eliminate some PMs and free up space. With a growing community of 20,000 plus maybe it's worth considering? Or maybe there's a downside I'm overlooking! Anyway It's just a thought, I enjoy the site, long may it reign. Thanks.

Hi bjd,

A (live) chat area has been suggested before. As far as I know the Managers of JumbleTown have no intention of introducing such an area. I'll put it to them again but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you!

Thanks for the suggestion.

Regards

another chatroom peasey!!!!
do you know of any other chat rooms where you can go for just a chat!!!
tryed a few before but they all turned out to be dating sites.
theres one my partners on its a hunting site and they have a live chat room on it its great crack.. they have people they know that are genuine from the site and make them moderators on the chat so if anyones messing or being rude on they can ban the ones that are doing it.
its great

Hi Everyone,

I really can't see a (live) chat-area happening in the immediate future. Apart from the extra monitoring it would involve, the Managers of JT wish to keep the site focussed on the Giving and Taking process and the benefits of this for the environment and community at large. Basically, there are other websites better equipped and more-suited to chatrooms than JumbleTown.
