Default questions re: certain items to go into blue bin or not?

Hi all,

there are a few things I'm not sure if I ca put into the blue bin or they should go into the black bin?
The following:
- jar lids (plastic/metal)
- the containers of those Polish chicken liver pates you can get in Tescos
- the caps of bottles (plastic)
- what can you do with the metal caps of bottles?
- the metal part of tea lights

Thanks for any advice.

Regards,
p

Default recycling

Hi Paprika, don't use bins myself so they may have a list available from the company who provides the service. We bring all to the recycling centre. The metal from tea lights and metal bottle lids-screw on ones are aluminium and can go in with drinkcans. Beer bottle caps and jar lids are counted as metal and go in with other food tins. plastic caps of bottles can go in with plastic bottles. don't know what kind of containers pate comes in so can't advise. Hope this helps, Eibh.

Thank you! These items were not on the list (I think, at least I can't remember) it just said in general plastic containers. But it makes sense, so now more thinks to go into the blue bin insted of the black :)
