Default JT buttons and ribbons, a bed sheet = little dress

My little girls and myself were going to a wedding and I wanted them to wear something cute and similar. So I used an old pink bed sheet, the ribbons and buttons I recieved on JT, some lace and ricrac from previous projects, and my treasure (the only new thing on it) a little from my designer fabric fat quarter. For the back I upcycled zips from old clothes (not sewn in on the pic yet). Even my thread was from JT!
Thank to everyone who gave me buttons and ribbons here!

How sweet! My mum (God rest her) used to do that for me when I was little, a million years ago! It's lovely to know that it still happens.

Thank you! They really loved their dresses (younger one's was the same, but different fabric on the breast part), and everyone admired them :)

Thank you TickTock! I suppose it's the recession. There was no way I could afford new matching outfits for them, so I had to make them myself. I try to make myself everything I can, it's more economical and fun too.

Wonderful idea, Paprika! It's grand to see people sewing again, and in your case, so creatively! Well done!
