Default Kirsties Fill Your House for Free

Does anyone watch this programme on Ch4, I think its brilliant. Wouldnt it be a great to have a 'free shop' like the one she has set up for the different programmes.

I absolutely love this programme and its full of ideas on how to re-invent from old items. I agree it would be great to have similar shops around the place or a swap centre like they showed on last weeks programme where people could bring unwanted items in and swap them for something they wanted to take home. It would cost nothing and save on landfill sites.

I swear to God my mouth waters watching this programme, I want everything in it! But I am a bit hmmmmmmmm about the quality of stuff and find it hard to believe that they get the stuff as handy as they do. I know from my own experience that you trawl through a lot of sh1t before you get stuff half as good as they have on that programme!

She did say in one episode that it usually takes about a month of just looking to be able to get enough good quality stuff to put into one of the houses. The 'dodgy' stuff you may get sometimes can be upcycled or just taken apart completely to use on other things. I recommend if you can find it on discovery shed 'The salvager'. He looks a bit mad but he makes get stuff out of the weirdest, oldest unloved bits. He does pay for the stuff, but not too much!
