Removing superglue?
Did the most hideous thing ever...
Treated myself to a lovely pair of versace sunglasses... minded them like solid gold for a few years...one day noticed the interior plastic part of the case was coming away so i superglued it...held it for a few seconds...was all looking beautiful. Few mins later put the glasses back in the case.. Result: next time i go to use the glasses i discover they're covered in superglue. Lenses, frames, everything. DISASTER!!!!! Have kept them in a drawer at home ever since in the hopes that i might find a way to get the glue off.... didnt want to try anything in case i scrathed the lenses... Any ideas???? Totally gutted :( |

Hi Arctic, I know there is a remover for superglue, you might be able to get it in Woodies or any hardware store. It's liquid as far as I remember so shouldn't scratch glasses. You could then leave them into any opticians and they might be able to fix for you. Hope this helps.

removing superglue
Hi
I just googled removing superglue and see that nail polish remover is recommended. You could try a little on a cotton bud and see how you get on. Hope this helps! |
