i know this is probably a silly question but just wondering if its safe to do this (case it catches fire because crape paper is quite flammable isnt it?)
it looks fab and i would like to do this in my daughters room but just a bit concerned:)
i do have an energy saving lightbulb in it and it doesnt get as hot as conventional bulbs but just wondering
thanks

Default it is safe ...

yeah it is safe coz me using this lamp from a very long time ... and for safety purpose i use an old lamp shade and cover it with tissue paper.so that there is no direct connection between paper and bulb...do try it and if u hav any doubt use energy saver for more safety ..
