Default Ecoballs

Hi Just saw this thread this evening. Are these a form of washing powder and how do they work. Would love to give them a go as my washing machine never seems to stop. I live about 10 miles from Linn and there is at least one other jumbletowner in the village. Kind regards.

Default Guinness book of records

Hi, I'd like to be in on this as well. I'm in Dublin 15 during the week & Cavan at the weekends, if that's any use for passing on, whoever is going to co-ordinate this (????)

In my opinion, I would monitor how ,many washes it can do over a limited period of time, rather than reaching the 1000wash. Some households could have 3-4 washes one day and maybe 2 the next. One way or another It is a fab idea. Best Wishes with your adventure.

Now I dont mean to be a party pooper, Cos this is a great idea, but I was just thinking, that if each person took the ball for one wash, in some cases it could still probably take 2 or even 3 or 4 days (in some cases, not all) to get to the next person - if that was the case it would take quite a while to get to that '1000'.
Maybe if the person taking the ball could hold two washes for that day and make a serious effort to get it on to the next person asap, and write on the list how many times you used it. I always have more than 2 washes a day. And I already have a couple of people I can pass it to. Only one of them is a JT'er and the other one is 'pending' lol. She will be soon though.

The Guinness Book of Records is another thing too - I think they have to physically be there to count all the uses - I cant see them going from house to house - but maybe we could get a newspaper interested and get some publicity for JT?

Anyway I'm in and can meet up with anyone who wants to pass it to me.

Billie
