Hi Anne

My husband says I no longer live in Portarlington because I moved to Jumbletown about a year ago! There is no cure just go with the addiction!

Ha Holly :-)

You are now trapped in the twilight jumbletown zone.... where life and days run into each other ... with you believing that you have been only sat at the computer for a matter of minutes.... rather than a whole day...

THERE IS NO CURE.... but we are a happy if somewhat mad bunch.... at least i am ...

In my life before jumble town i would happily go to bed around 9 ish... now it can be nearly midnight and i still havent a dirty dish washed nor much else achieved but having loads of fun trawling through all the sections looking for things that i never knew that i wanted or needed!!!! and busy chatting back and forth to various jters''

So enjoy your addiction... we could all be addicted to a lot worse :-)

Default addiction to Jumbletown

See there has not been any posts since 2010 so heres my tuppence worth...I have to admit it ....I am also addicted to Jumbletown....It is truly a community and I have also met such lovely people since i joined !! Have donated and sent items to people and likewise have received many items both in the post and collected them too from lovely people. Thanks to all who contacted me since I joined. I love checking in for items I am looking for....wardrobes this week since I have someone going up to Dublin and Wicklow with a van who could collect a wardrobe for me but still havent seen an ad for one...fingers crossed someone will post before Friday !!

Anyhow, have mentioned Jumbletown lots of time to people and have posted it on Facebook too.....wouldnt a facebook page for jumbletown be a good idea ? What does everyone else think of that ?

Thanks for helping to spread the word!

There actually is a Facebook page for JumbleTown but it's inactive -- we have too much on our plate managing the site itself. Who knows, we might get round to using it at a later stage when time and resources allow.

Thanks for the feedback, miss lilac!
