Default An Old Oil Barrel to a Flower Display

Hi all just thought I'd share this with you. My Husband had a few of these oil barrells so he cut it in half and welded the spear heads he had left over from a gate. The flowers are now in full bloom one on either side of the front door.
Hope ye like it and it might give someone an idea as to what can be done with old oil barrels.

Pic is tiny but it looks like a fabulous job, what a clever idea to weld the spear heads. Very unique.

That looks fabulous! Great touch to put the gate parts on it.

Well done, That is a really cool barrel. The spear ends really give it an artistic character.

Did you remember to put a few drainage holes in the bottom.
