Default Knitting wool for a good cause - final product.

Thanks to the kindness of some JT'ers I have secured some wool which is great but I will leave the post up as I would love to get some more if possible.

I'm collecting for my Mum who is part of an active age group and they are knitting blankets for the wheelchair invalids in Lourdes to put over their knees while out and about.

They are doing fantastic work so the more wool the more blankets, its a great cause.

P.S. Just attached some pictures so you can see the good work the ladies are doing, a shipment of blankets has gone already so hopefully we can get another batch finished soon.

Thanks.

Default Wool

Hello! I have some spare wool....new unused. ' I placed an ad and another JT sent me your link. This is the ad I placed: '6 balls of Tivoli Flair wool plus various other bits ... prefer to give to someone who will put this wool to good use! Photo to follow'

This type of wool is normally used for making scarves.....would this be of any use to your group of ladies? I'm having difficulty loading photo... can email it to you directly if you wish.

Default Wool

Thanks for reply.
I have quite a lot of wool, (as well as half-finished cardigans etc), left behind by a lifelong knitter, who is unfortunately no longer with us. I don't think any of it would be 'baby wool' weight though. Would you have a use for this? - or do you use only a particular type of wool?

Thanks.

Default Wool...

Hi Chamallo, are you still looking for wool? I have a large amount of knitted & crocheted squares, most of which are about 6/7 inch square. I had done those for another project, but unfortunately, they will not now be used. Am happy to pass them on to this good cause, as I'm sure your Mum and her group can sew or crochet them together as I was doing. Please let me know if you're interested....
Regards,
Bibi
