Great job! I wondered if you could place another small shelf along the previous holes. I have a plain wooden panel with hooks for coats under the stairs and often thought a shelf over the hooks for collapsible umbrellas/woolly hats/gloves would work but I don't have the skills for the job so I just dream on! Well done, it looks lovely.

Fab transformation. Very inspirational. You could get some decorative hooks (cup hook size) from woodies to put in the holes under the shelf and use them for key hooks!
