All advice on saving water is very welcome. I always do my best not to waste water by not leaving taps running, not filling the kettle up, all the usual sensible stuff. However, I get really mad when I discover just how much wastage there is due to leaks in the system. My little savings just seems be a waste of my time when you realise that the Councils don't seem to be able to keep up with the leaks. Just my rant for the day. Thanks.

I agree with you ticktock. When times were good more money should have been invested in dealing with the leakage issue instead of keeping the likes of Jackie Healy Rae happy by turning ghost roads into motorways!
However as it stands we now got to deal with the hand we are dealt with and the less we use the more we will save from hence forth.
