Music Window sill
Hi,
I got this old sheet music from Eibhlin Ni Sheambrai. The type of paper was perfect and as it was genuinely old I didn't have to stain it with tea as I'd planned. Some of the window sills in my house were looking shabby and I hadn't the money for the paint I wanted, I was inspired by another Jumble Towner on here to use sheet music so here it is, The photos are a mix of wrong light and a camera phone so please excuse a few of them :) The Curtain rail was in another room in the house when we moved on and the curtain is 3 bargain bin scarves from Penneys. The tie back is a strip of fabric I had with some odd buttons from my collection :) |

Brilliant idea - did you use a varnish paint to seal/coat the sheets as a finish?

Music sill
Great job, and very interesting way to use it. I got these lovely Music sheets too, and yet I have still to use it. I have an idea in mind, and you have motivated me to get going.

wonderful great idea.
anyone use other sort of stuff, just thought for other 'makeovers' what about the house magazines which may have contributed to a wallpaper or such and you can point to the page on the window sill! ann |
