Default Glass jars

And is the paint simply 'glass paint'?

Default For the kids too

I'm afraid I don't have pics but when my niece, nephew and my son were a lot younger (about ten years ago - aaaah!) I got large bottles (wine bottle - paul masson I think) and put a base coat on them. I then traced their favourite cartoon characters onto greaseproof paper - little mermaid & sebastien, Aladdin & the genie and winnie the pooh & friends. Then I scribbled over the back of the greaseproof paper with pencil, laid the scribbled side onto the bottles and retraced the pictures. The outline came out on the bottle and then it was just a matter of colouring it in as it were. I have to say I'm very proud of their novel money boxes (that's what they ended up being used for). Also a great way to make a unique vase for yourself or as a present for a friend. Christmas is coming guys. Some of the best presents I got were handmade gifts. If I get photos I'll post them.

Default Type of paint

It was ten years ago but I know it was paint left over from painting a room. A friend of mine had done something similar to wine bottles. When it was all finished and completely dry (after doing the design on top) I coated it with household varnish in very thin coats so the bottles could be washed - after all they were going to three kids and we all know about mucky little fingerprints!!! Would love to see pics if anyone does it. Anyone can. I can't draw to save my life but the pictures came out perfect.

Default Paul Masson bottles

Yeah, sorry, they do have big holes. Perfect for a vase. And you have to drink the wine before too although better let the effects wear off ;-~ Equally you could copy maybe something from a tile in your bathroom and paint little jars with that design for holding bath salts etc. Actually I think I'll do that myself it's a good idea.

Thought you'd like this website.

And wouldn't these look great on your bottles? Oil/dressing/vinaigrette pourers.

I think silver olives on a black bottle would be perfect! i.e. black olives. You must post a pic LeLapin

Silver stars and or snowflakes for Christmas? Celtic spirals of different sizes? You can fill these bottles with sand and make a lamp base from them too. Can't wait to see it!
