Default Capel Street

Hi, can't remember the name of it, but there is a fabric shop toward the Parnell Street end of Capel Street and they used to sell the beans: the Fabric I got in Murphy Sheeys). I (well my mom) made one for me a few years ago... think its €15 a bag, you might need 2 if your making a big one... While I got hours of pleasure out of mine the cat has taken over now, so beware.

Default beanbag filling

If you know any company that sell bottled stuff ie. veterinary surgeries, pharmacies and the like, the medicines etc may come with polystyrene beading around them for protection and I'd say they'd be only too glad to give it to you. These beads would not be as small as regular beads, usually shamrock shaped. I got two beanbag covers in IKEA Sweden years ago for E5 each and as I work on a commercial farm I get the beans there. I do find though that they get a bit flat over time but I am lucky enough to have a steady supply.

Try HYTHERM on the Kells road out of Navan, opposite the FORD garage, I got 2 big bags of beans there for €10 two years ago, just give them a ring before you go, they are an insulation company and they sell the waste beans in bags to people for beanbags.
