Default Irish Times article features JumbleTowner Melissabell plus more...(10/06/14)

Hi Everyone,

There's a great article by Jill Nesbitt in the Irish Times today (p.11) that highlights the fantastic work of re-users and upcyclers around the country. The piece includes a chat with JumbleTowner Melissabell and another unnamed Member whose handiwork is included in the "Before & After" forum. Jill also talks to folks involved in the Repair Cafe, Tog, the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun, the Community Reuse Network, and a host of others.

If you can't get your hands on a hard-copy of the Irish Times, please click on the link below for the digital version:

"No Wasters: How to Repair a Throwaway Culture" by Jill Nesbitt:

Well done to all concerned, and keep up the good work!

Regards

Default Well done Jill Nesbitt

A well written article: and very well researched. Well done to Jill in opening the nations eyes to reusing and up-cycling. There is a wealth of information in the article - some of which is new to me. Thanks Jill ;-)

Well done Melissabell---you go girl. I have had the privilege of being in Melissa's home--a treasure trove/aladdins cave of beauty. So tasteful, you would never guess re-used or re-cycled. A true artist!
