Default environmentally unfriendly?

Is iT WRONG to go into the mountains and pick stones or small rocks for a very small patio.
I want to do the right thing.
dont want to disturb anything.
I was thinking of really dumped or strewn about stuff.
Not any that is actually connected to vegatation etc.

The earth is there to be used by all in harmony. As long as you're not disturbing any homes of insects or uprooting vegetation :)

Nice one cormie. I'd go with that too. I like to think of those stones as "lost" and waiting for a purpose. And you obviously have great respect for your environs from reading your posts so they'll get a good home no doubt.
