Default INfO wanted on how to get rid of the smell of turps

MY son got a spot of paint on a jumper and decided to try get it off with some turps. but instead of washing it, he put it in the dryer and now everything smells of turps.

hopefully someone will have some advice as to what i can do to get rid of the smell from the dryer..or do i have to get rid of the dryer?

Neutradol freshners are great for getting rid of smells. A few years back I had a gas leak and this was the only thing that got rid of smell. I usually use the 'jelly' tubs of this air freshner because they suck in the smell . If you bought the spray Neutradol and sprayed a cloth with it and put it in your dryer it might absorb the smell of the turps. You can purchase Neutradol in any €2 store or in supermarkets. It's worth a try and cheaper than purchasing a new dryer!!!
