Default Organic produce

I have an uncle who is a pear and apple farmer abroad he was telling me once that all this Organic stuff is C***. THe farmer has to spray organic stuff much more frequently than non organic and as all fruit and vegies have pourous skins this just accumulates in the fruit so you are not getting any better with organic or non organic. Also works from the roots up in that soil has to be fertilised more frequently agin for organic produce.

I heard that as well but apparently it's more work for a farmer to go organic. So they might have a lot of reasons to not do it. I would think it's better to spray something that's 'healthy' 10 times then something that's 'unhealthy' once.
I can't remember exactly and I'm no expert but I followed a discussion once with pro's and con's.
The best thing would probably produce your own if possible.
