Default Rockery Transformed!

We had a huge overgrown rockery. Rocks not a good idea around a wandering toddler! We decided to 'get rid of it'. Problem was, it was right up against the foundations of our neighbour's wall! We couldn't cut too far back. However, we took 3 feet off the depth of it and levelled it out, weeded it. etc.

We also cut down a lot of overgrown trees above the wall and built a dividing fence in the centre of our garden, to keep our dog on one side, as she kept scaring off the birds as they tried to land. She thinks she is a cat!

We broke our hearts digging, spade by spade, we gave away 25 turf bags of stones and lost a lot of weight!

Our 16 month old son had a go at the wheel barrow, and gave up pretty quick!

********UPDATE************** We got our hands on some great bird feeders in Aldi! And very cheap too!

The rockery on the right has taken shape a bit now. I hung all the bird feeders along the fence there.

Hard work always pays off. Well done! Don't forget to upload that other before/after photo. You know, the one of ye before ye lost the weight, and the one after you lost the weight! :-)

Default Well done!

You worked hard, especially the little fella! Well done!

Are you going to make bird tables etc? (I think they look much nicer than shop bought myself)
