Recently Maxi had a post here asking what can be done with a large amount of fabric scraps that her Nan had saved for decades. The recycling centre would not take them. I took them and sorted them into what I would use and the rest -I offered on JT.
The ones I can't use are going to a fashion college for the students to use (these are vintage fabrics and very cool with fashion and design students) Here is the first thing I made from the ones I kept for myself. A set of patchwork chair covers (shown here on an armchair I also got on JT) Thanks to Maxi for a lifetime supply of fabric for crafts. |
