Find a user to send a PM

I want to PM a user, i have the user name, but i can't find anywhere to search for a user unless they have a thread or are on line.

Go into messages,
click send new message & u can then put in the user name.

Hi Tudlytops,

Click on "Private Messages" / Visit your PM Folder;

Choose "Send New Message" from the Control Panel on the left of your screen;

Write in the Member's User Name in the "Recipient Box" at the top of the Private Message Box;

...and then write your PM.
