I am just wondering how the "Find new items" button works

Find new from when exactly? I thought it might work that they were new items for my last visit but I see thats not the case.

Is there any way I can set it that I see all the new items placed since I visited previously.

This may be asking too much but just curious cheers Chamallo

Hi Chamallo,

The "Find New Items" button seems to be working fine. It may simply be the case that no new items/ads/threads have been posted since your last visit.

(Note: The "Find New Items" button only shows new items/ads/threads, and not new posts on items/ads/threads.

Also, it will not include an ad/thread that you yourself have just created as it is not new for you.)

If you wish to include particular forums only in your search for new items, you should click on the "Set Default Search" button just below and to the left of the "Find New Items" button.

Many thanks for the info, sry I didnt word my query very well but the main question I had was "New items from when"??

Will it show me all new items/ads/threads since my last visit ???

Yup! That's what it's designed to do, at least. If it isn't showing you new items since your last visit, there may be none, or there may be a gremlin in the works -- we've received no other reports of the latter, and everything appears to be working fine from our end of things.
