I have a few food items that I will not use and I was wondering if there is any place in the city centre that would accept donations of food for charity. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi tlsnrt,

There are a number of food charities/banks in Dublin but the impression I get is that they collect in bulk from companies/factories. Examples are:

and:

I think your best bet is to try:

The Capuchin Day Centre,
29 Bow Street, Dublin 7

... or the Focus Ireland Coffee Shop:
15 Eustace St
Temple Bar
Dublin 2
Tel: 01 671 2555

Hi, Chris:

Thank you very much for your help. I was able to donate everything to Focus Ireland.

Thanks!
