Simple method of killing moss on tarmac, cement, stone, etc surfaces (do not use on grass), is to use washing up powder (the cheaper the better). Shake on in dry weather and only needs about 2 hours and doesn't matter if it rains thereafter. The moss will die within 2/3 days.
