Hi there, I'm a new user and I've posted a few threads giving away bits of furniture. I'm just wondering, is there any way I can easily view all the threads that I have started all together? Cos when lots of threads start with similar words, like "Bookcase" or whatever, it can become a bit confusing trying to find your own!

When you click on your user name a list appears. One of them is find all posts by Charlotte sometimes and click on that and you'll see them all.

I have a similar query.
I have been having trouble with finding my old ads. I have gone to 'user CP' but it only shows a few, also tried clicking on my username and it is the same.
Where do my adverts go??!
I need to mark them up as taken or bump them, but they are no longer showing up. Hmmm, strange!

Hi Fizzywitch,

First of all, ads and posts do not disappear from the Forum for no reason. Items that are near the top of the listings and have been marked as Taken are archived. We have over 20,000 ads in the Archive, which can only be accessed by Admin. These ads can be reposted for a short period if the Giver wishes to view some information on them; this rarely happens.

Ads that are not updated are also archived by Admin. Givers need to respond to expressions of interest from potential Takers within 3 days. Reserved ads should be updated within 6 days; otherwise Admin considers the item to have been collected and the ad is archived.

Inappropriate posts by Members are deleted by Admin.

With regard to your own posts, Fizzywitch, you've made 48, and around 20 of these are on threads that have been archived -- that's why you can't view them.

Right Chris thanks for that.

I was just puzzled as someone had asked for an item I had posted a while back and that was days after the items had been archived (?) and not showing up so I thought that others could see them but I couldn't.

Thanks anyway

Hi Fizzywitch,

The potential Taker was probably looking at an old notification email or a cached/old page-view.
